ABOUT KIMI SURF HOUSE

 

Sometimes one meeting can change everything.

One evening, during a trip, I met Kimi on the beach. She was living in her van, a lifestyle that was completely foreign to me. Without a specific itinerary, she invited me to come and share a part of her adventure. We rode to our's heart desire, stopping where we felt comfortable and falling asleep lulled by the sound of the wind and the waves. This freedom, this simplicity awakened something in me.

This moment of freedom left its mark on me far beyond these few trips. I decided to go to Australia with the idea of buying an old van. Capricious and far from perfect, it nevertheless faithfully accompanied me throughout my adventure. I called it KIMI, in homage to the girl who had introduced me to this way of traveling.

For a year, I traveled the East Coast in search of the best waves, sleeping wherever the swell took me. At the end of the trip, I wanted to mark the occasion because I am convinced that the most precious memories are not taken in photos. So I created a t-shirt to immortalize these moments and share them with those who crossed my path.

Little by little, the idea grew. This feeling of freedom deserved to take shape, to be shared... This is how KIMI SURF HOUSE was born.

Today, KIMI SURF HOUSE is not just a t-shirt: it is a brand designed for travelers, surfers. I learned that when you go on an adventure, the essentials fit in a bag. A few clothes, a board, a notebook full of memories scribbled between two sessions are enough. Everything else is accessory.

I designed oversized, durable and comfortable clothes. They are designed to accompany your road trips and surf sessions. Made with thick and durable materials from Stanley/Stella, they are produced in pre-order to avoid surplus while respecting the environment.
